At Mixology Art, we are committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We strive to provide an inclusive and enjoyable browsing experience for all visitors, regardless of their abilities.

Crafting Accessible Cocktails

Web accessibility means enabling people with disabilities to perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with our website. It involves making sure that everyone, including those with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities, can access the information and functionalities of our site.

What is Web Accessibility for Mixology Art

We have designed and developed our website in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) [2.0 / 2.1 / 2.2] to ensure it meets the standards of accessibility. Our site is compatible with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard navigation.

Accessibility Statement — Mixology Art

Last updated: [10/30/2025]

Mixology Art is committed to providing a website, products, and in-person services that are accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to integrate accessibility into our everyday design, development, and event operations.

Our approach

  • Standards & testing: We design and review pages against WCAG 2.1 AA using semantic HTML, keyboard-only navigation checks, color-contrast audits, alt text for meaningful images, and screen-reader spot tests (NVDA/JAWS/VoiceOver).

  • Continuous improvement: Accessibility is an ongoing effort. New pages and features are checked before release, and existing content is reviewed on a rolling schedule.

  • Third-party content: Some embedded tools (calendars, payment forms, maps, social media) are provided by third parties. We select vendors that publicly support accessibility and escalate issues we find.

Site compatibility

  • Browsers: Current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.

  • Devices: Desktop, tablet, and mobile.

  • Assistive tech: We aim to support common screen readers and magnifiers, keyboard navigation, and voice input. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us (details below).

Event & class accessibility

We strive to make our private bartending, classes, and consulting accessible:

  • Menu PDFs available in accessible/large-print formats upon request.

  • On request, we can provide ingredient and allergen lists in advance.

  • We work with venues to support step-free access, clear pathways, and seated/standing service options.

  • For classes, we can adapt tools, station height, and pacing with prior notice.

  • ASL interpretation or live captions can be arranged with reasonable advance notice.

Request assistance or alternative formats

If you need an accommodation, an alternative format of content, or help completing a booking or quote, contact us:

Please include: the page or service where you experienced an issue, the assistive technology/browser you use, and how we can help. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

Known limitations

While we work to ensure full accessibility, some legacy images or third-party embeds may not yet meet AA standards. When identified, we prioritize fixes or provide accessible alternatives.

Feedback

Accessibility feedback makes us better. If you have suggestions or encounter barriers, please reach out via the contacts above. We welcome vendor and venue feedback as well. Mixology Art believes art belongs to everyone. If something blocks your access, we will do our best to remove it or provide a suitable alternative promptly
